Description
In the first half of the last century, the wines produced in the Portogruaro area, despite the inherent goodness of the grapes from which they were derived, were not able to satisfy the increasing market demand, nor give adequate compensation to producers. The production was not able to meet the commercial needs, as they were required a huge permanent quantity of excellent quality wine.
